Hello there! My name's Chimera and I am the creator of this website and the comic "Palaten"!

This comic is something I have been imagining and thinking of for a decade now! (as of writing this in 2025!) It is incredibly self indulgent and is close to my heart. At the suraface level, it's about a girl seeking revenge, but that's just the start of it all. And at it's heart? Well I can't really lie but it's love. It's all about love. (And not just romantic love!)

Disclaimer: This story is something that is divorced from reality, the characters would not be considered good people in the real world, and will do many things that are considered "wrong" within reality as well. But this is not reality! This is a piece of fiction and fantasy, and I will take advantage of that to make a story *I* personally consider interesting, it wont be for everyone and that's okay!

About the creator
I've been drawing ever since I was child, although originally I wanted to be a Fashion designer before realising it wasn't actually for me. From there, I went to wanting to be an Illustrator, but I didn't really know what Illustrators do at the time, all I knew if that I wanted to draw. This feeling was enhanced a lot when I got into Anime and Manga, and it was around this time the characters of "Palaten" began to exist. And so I eventually decided I wanted to share the worlds from my imagination, I don't consider myself as writer much, because a lot of my "stories" just came together on their own in my many escapism fanatisies (although as a child I did have a hobby of writing stories, especially using a typewriter). To this day, I'm still not completely sure how I want to portray these worlds, whether it's through a comic or a game (but I'm also just bad at just focusing on one thing and working on it to completion lol). I'm not quite sure where I was going with this anymore... but anyway! That's all for now!
